Our history and commitment
At Conaltura, we are passionate about creating spaces that transform and improve people's lives. With 34 years of experience, we have developed over 130 real estate projects in several cities across the country, such as Bogotá, Medellín, Barranquilla, Cartagena, and Cali, from planning to guaranteed satisfaction upon delivery.
We take care of every step:Design, management, sales, and construction, always with a sustainable approach. Sustainability is an essential part of our DNA, and all our projects reflect this commitment. Our philosophy, represented by VIO, inspires us to build with a vision for a better future.
In April 2022, we became a Certified B Corporation,which reinforces our commitment to a responsible and sustainable business model that cares for both people and the planet.
Timeline
Our origin
We started as I.C.G. Ltda. (Ingenieros Civiles Garcés Gaviria) in Girardota, Antioquia, focusing on engineering construction and plant maintenance.
First construction
We built our first multifamily building, Santa Bárbara, located in the Laureles neighborhood of Medellín.
First social impact
We developed the Los Guayacanes residential complex in Girardota, with 282 houses and apartments. Due to its social impact, it was nominated for the National Portafolio Award by El Tiempo newspaper in the Community Contribution category.
National expansion
We decided to expand our presence to other cities in the country, starting with Bogotá.
Beginnings of innovation and sustainability
We began implementing innovation management in our processes. VerdeVivo was born as a pilot housing project focused on innovation and sustainability.
Recognition for workplace environment
We received the Great Place to Work award for our outstanding workplace management, where teamwork and trust allowed us to achieve great accomplishments.
B Company Certification
We became a Certified B Corporation, reaffirming our commitment to being a better company for the world, not just the best in the world.
